Web Training Management System (WTMS)

Version 1.3

1.  Product Description

This Release Note describes the features, enhancements, and corrections to Version 1.3 of the Web Training Management System (WTMS).

2.  New Features

The following enhancements were made to the WTMS with this release:

• Added spell check capability to the general and lesson comments screen.
• Added additional selection criteria to the Flying Schedule report. The report can now be filtered using the PersonFilter's Change Search selection criteria.
• Add the External IDs to the Squadron Roster report.  This report allows you to select one or more squadrons and it lists all active members of  the squadron along with the user access groups they are a member of.
• Added the training date and lesson completion status to the Completed Lessons grid.
• When selecting a student on the Gradesheet tab, the student's Started Courses will be displayed be default.
• All reviews of performance will be stored rather than only the most recent per reviewer.
• Significant changes were made to the person selection to improve performance. 
• The Generate Report button will now disable when the "Change Search" screen is open.

3.  Fixes

The following corrections were made in this release of the WTMS:

• Remedial/additional assignments would sometimes be deleted if the original lesson performance was updated.
• Corrected an abort on the Lesson Details screen that occurred if the time fields were blank.
• Corrected an abort in Person Filter that occurred when searching on a name with an apostrophe.
• Course Progress report did not consistently show Certify Pass lessons.
• Corrected an abort on the Resource Unit Schedule report that occurred when no location was selected.
• Removed dummy button that displayed incorrectly in Netscape.
• Corrected misspelling on Messages screen.
• Ungrading a lesson did not always add the assignment back to the Remaining Lessons list.
• Corrected error that would not allow the ungrading of a lesson that was originally graded with the LAN based version of TMS.
