Web Training Management System (WTMS)

1.  Product Description

This Release Note describes the features, enhancements, and corrections to Version 1.5 of the Web Training Management System (WTMS).

2.  New Features

The following enhancements were made to the WTMS with this release:

• Added an option to facilitate training review on the TMS page.  The Training Review tab can be selected to access this option.  More info...
• A Calendar tab was added to the Home page.  This tab is intended to display program events to facilitate scheduling of meetings.  More info...
• A new report was generated that can be used to see who has or has not read a TMS message.  This report is accessible from the message details page only if you have the SendGroupMessage permission.

3.  Fixes

The following corrections were made in this release of the WTMS:

• Corrected the ungrade option to remove worksheet objectives generated from the lesson that is being ungraded.
• An error was corrected that prevented the spell check option from being used from within the Boeing network.
• The Gradesheet schedule view was corrected to display the times in a 24 hour clock.  These were being displayed with a 12 hour clock and no AM/PM designation.
• Validation was added to ensure that the completion date for a lesson is not blank.  This also fixed an error that occurred when clicking a started or completed course with a blank date.
• Corrected an error that allowed a total lesson time (lesson + prebrief + postbrief) to exceed 24 hours.  This normally occurred when the start time was entered instead of the duration.
• In some cases you could not access the waiver option for a needed course.  This has been corrected to allow a waiver on all courses needed.
• The current user could select the Add New Comment option when viewing their own General Comments getting an unusable window.  This was corrected to not allow the Add New Comment when reviewing your own records.
• Corrected an error that would allow a multi-select person list being submitted without all necessary fields being checked.
• An error was found and corrected that allowed a lesson grade to be saved without a comment when a comment was required.
• An error was found and corrected that caused a lesson to still display in the Remaining Lessons list after it was Certify Passed.
